Cutlery found at Mom’s beach house when they first moved in. They didn’t want them. I thought about how no one ever picks up broken shells either, (there were many beautiful whole perfect ones on the beach,) and these broken were still once beautiful. They felt vulnerable to me, being exposed and jagged, far from their “former beauty”. I still love them and think they are unique.
